       Eligibility

Age Requirements
Applicants must be aged 20-35 years during 2025 (underaged applicants will be disqualified automatically).

Nationality Requirements
All nationalities are welcome. However, certain United Nations-related activities may have nationality restrictions, and specific opportunities will be available only to qualified delegates.

Other Requirements
Applicants are required to demonstrate a strong interest in sustainable development and align with Tzu Chi’s humanistic spirit and philosophy. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

                 Application Process

1. Virtual Information Session

Open to interested applicants to hear more about the program and ask questions.

2. Note the registration deadline

Please take note of the due date of the registration close date. The application deadline for the 2025 cohort is March 14, 2025.

3. First Selection

After careful review of the application documents, an email will be sent to applicants who are eligible to go onto the interview process.

4. Interview

Interviews will be conducted either individually or in groups.

5. Final Selection/ Team Arrangement

Candidates from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the U.S. will form overseas Tzu Chi chapters.

6. Curriculum

Regular training sessions are held every three weeks on Saturdays.

Terms and Conditions

Program Changes and Cancellations

Tzu Chi reserves the right to cancel, modify, or substitute the Program and its activities when necessary, considering the circumstances and the best interests of the participants.

Participation and Responsibilities
  • Tzu Chi may refuse or revoke an application for participation in the Program if deemed necessary.
  • Delegates are responsible for obtaining visas and required documents for travel and participation, despite Tzu Chi’s support in this process. Tzu Chi is not liable if the required documents cannot be obtained.
Media Usage

Tzu Chi reserves the right to use photos, videos, or statements made by Delegates for various purposes, including print, verbal, online, or other media. Delegates can decline such use by contacting the Program Coordinator in writing.

Liability Disclaimer

Tzu Chi is not liable for any loss, harm, injury, or damages to Delegates or their property, regardless of the cause.
